An ATSC Standard is a document that states basic specifications or criteria that are necessary for effective implementation and interoperability of Advanced Television Systems.

As part of its ongoing review of documents at or beyond the 5-year review cycle, on September 20 the ATSC Technology and Standards Group approved withdrawal of A/68, “PSIP Standard for Taiwan.” Per ATSC policies, this question will be submitted to the ATSC membership for final consideration by 1 March 2008.
