In-person conference and event registration has closed. Due to COVID safety precautions, we will not allow any walk-in registrations this year. You may view the live stream of the ATSC NextGen Broadcast Conference by registering now. Thank you!
All in-person attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors must be fully vaccinated. Please see the Health & Safety section for details.
This year’s conference will once again be held both in-person and virtually, giving all attendees a way to participate that is comfortable for them. For the first time ever, we are moving the NextGen Broadcast Conference out of Washington D.C. to downtown Detroit. The conference will take place at the historic Westin Book Cadillac hotel. Detroit is the home of the Motown 3.0 Test Track. In addition, Michigan boasts three DMA’s on-air with NEXTGEN TV including Detroit, East Lansing, and Grand Rapids-Kalamazoo.
ATSC Members can participate in nearly 3 days of events, networking, ATSC Annual Members Meeting, and a vibrant 2-day conference schedule. Media and non-members are invited to join us for the Wednesday evening networking event at the Ford Museum and the Thursday conference.
ATSC member organizations represent the broadcast, broadcast equipment, motion picture, consumer electronics, computer, cable, satellite, and semiconductor industries. Conference attendees are mid-to-senior level executives who have competent knowledge and ATSC 3.0 and NEXTGEN TV. There will be numerous demonstrations and exhibitors showcasing the latest in ATSC 3.0 technologies.

There is no fee or registration requirement for ATSC Members to livestream the Annual Member Meeting.
The ATSC NextGen Broadcast Conference is being staged at the Westin Book Cadillac in downtown Detroit, located at 1114 Washington Boulevard. While the ATSC room block at the Westin is now closed, you may be able to book directly with the hotel on their website.
Per the Westin Hotel Cancellation Policy, there will be no penalty for cancelling your hotel reservation 48 hours prior to the event. Any sooner than 48 hours, the cancellation is subject to a penalty. This is a Marriott/Westin policy and ATSC has no control over it.

We will be offering a hybrid event which allows our attendees to make the best decision for themselves and their company as to whether to attend in-person or virtually.
All in-person attendees must be vaccinated, and proof of vaccination is required. All attendees will receive an email with information on how to register with the CLEAR Health Pass app prior to the conference. Proof of vaccination, either through the CLEAR Health Pass app, or by showing your vaccination card at on-site registration, is required for admittance into the conference.
ATSC will also abide by all local, state, and federal mandates to ensure the safety of our attendees. As of February 16, 2022, the State of Michigan no longer has an indoor mask mandate.
Located just eight miles east of downtown Detroit, The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation is the world’s most comprehensive collection of artifacts that focuses on innovation, ingenuity, and resourcefulness. Our guests will have the run of the massive indoor museum for the ATSC event, with food and refreshments sprinkled throughout hundreds of historic artifacts, plates, trains, automobiles, houses, and other remarkable exhibits.
