ATSC celebrated the the era of NEXTGEN TV during a ceremony at CES 2020. ATSC President Madeleine Noland was joined on stage by John Taylor, Senior Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications for LG Electronics US, Senator Gordon Smith, National Association of Broadcasters President and CEO, and Gary Shapiro, President and CEO of CTA.

The Advanced Television Systems Committee, Inc., is an international, non-profit organization developing voluntary standards and recommended practices for digital terrestrial broadcasting. ATSC member organizations represent the broadcast, broadcast equipment, motion picture, consumer electronics, computer, cable, satellite, and semiconductor industries. ATSC also develops digital terrestrial broadcasting implementation strategies and supports educational activities on ATSC standards.
