As mentioned in the last issue of The Standard newsletter, the annual update of A/300, “ATSC 3.0 System,” was approved by the membership on July 17. The ballot question included direction to staff to update references and schemas in and to all ATSC 3.0 Standards and Recommended Practices. That process, which requires a significant amount of time, has now been completed. All 23 Standards and 10 Recommended Practices in the ATSC 3.0 suite have been updated and published on the ATSC web site. In addition to the annual reference updates, the new version of A/300 includes a new Annex B on “ATSC 3.0 Operating Configurations.”

Publication is expected soon.
