The following ballots are active within ATSC or have recently concluded.
NON-REAL-TIME CONTENT DELIVERY. This Candidate Standard was elevated to Proposed Standard by TG1 on Jan 31. Comments were received during the ballot and resolved. Because the proposed changes are substantive, a re-ballot at TG1 has been issued. The reballot closes on April 6.
WORKING DRAFT REVISION OF A/52. The TG1 ballot for Digital Audio Compression (AC-3, E-AC-3) closed on Feb. 1. It was approved. Comments were received during the ballot and resolved. The ATSC Membership ballot was issued on Feb. 24 and closed on March 23. It was approved. Editorial comments were received during the Membership ballot. Publication is pending.
A/153 PART 7 AMENDMENT. The purpose of the AVC and SVC Video System Characteristics amendment is to add additional video coding options to Part 7. The TG1 ballot closed on March 8. It was approved with comments; resolution is pending.
BYLAWS REVISION. This ballot to revise certain sections of the ATSC Bylaws was issued on Feb. 27. The ballot closed on March 26. It was approved.
