Adam Wiener

Adam Wiener is an enterprise media executive with more than three decades of experience leading transformation across broadcast, digital, and streaming platforms. He is recognized as an award-winning industry executive and thought leader on the future of media, helping traditional broadcasters evolve into multi-platform organizations.

Most recently, he serves as Principal of Continuous Media, advising media and technology organizations on streaming strategy, audience development, and revenue diversification. His work spans leading institutions including NAB, Cox Media, RFD-TV and the World Economic Forum.

Previously, he led CBS Local Digital Media ($150M+ P/L) as Executive Vice President and General Manager and was part of the leadership team for CBS’s $1.5B television division. He conceived and launched CBSN Local, a multi-market streaming news network, and played a central role in transforming CBS’s local media operations for the digital era.

While he held senior positions at NBC Universal and Dow Jones/IAC, Wiener began his career in journalism at CBS News, where he was a senior broadcast producer, covered national political campaigns and launched CBSNews.com as Executive Producer.

He is the author of the TV NewsCheck monthly column ‘Reading Between the Screens,’ which explores the future of broadcast, streaming and audience behaviors. His work reflects a longstanding commitment to public trust, civic engagement, and the role of media in society.

Wiener holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Rhode Island and a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from MIT Sloan. He is the recipient of the National Association of Broadcasters Digital Leadership Award.
