Joe Fabiano is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at EdgeBeam Wireless, where he leads engineering strategy for broadcast-enabled data, location, and Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) 3.0–based distribution systems. He specializes in object-based content delivery network (CDN) architecture, multicast IP delivery, semiconductor innovation, and Broadcast-to-Anything (B2X) standards development. With more than two decades in digital video, content delivery, and cloud infrastructure, Joe has helped shape multiple industry transitions. He co-founded Pathfire, architecting one of the first broadcast CDNs, earning Technology Emmy and National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) awards, and later founded StarNet Development, introducing the first personal computer (PC)-based MPEG-2 encoder/decoder platform. He previously led AdCore Local and held leadership roles at Coherent Logix, driving commercialization of system-on-chip platforms. Joe is recognized for advancing resilient, synchronized broadcast-powered data systems that integrate with 5G and emerging network architectures.
