Joe Lancaster is VP of Products at EdgeBeam Wireless, where he leads product strategy for the company’s broadcast-powered precision-location service, eGPS, as well as its datacast and enterprise connectivity platforms. His work focuses on turning ATSC 3.0’s one-to-many distribution capability into commercial products for high-precision positioning, automotive, IoT, and public-safety markets.
Joe’s career spans silicon, network infrastructure, data platforms, and enterprise applications. Before joining EdgeBeam, he was VP of Product Management for Enterprise AI at Solix Technologies, where he led product and pre-sales for safe, explainable, and private GenAI agents. Earlier, as Head of Product Management at Coherent Logix, he owned the roadmap for the company’s ASICs, development tools, libraries, and reference applications across commercial and defense markets, including work supporting Coherent Logix silicon for ATSC 3.0 receiver applications. He previously held Chief Strategy Officer roles at OpenVault and VelociData, where he helped commercialize cable/telco data and network-telemetry products at scale and drove VelociData’s transition to SaaS ahead of its acquisition.
Joe holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and a B.S. in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee. He is based in Longmont, Colorado.
