Raymundo Barros is the CTO at Globo, where Raymundo Barros leads the Media Supply Chain, Broadcast Engineering, Corporate IT, and Digital Platforms. Over a 44-year career with the company, Raymundo Barros has spearheaded its pivot into a media technology powerhouse by launching Globoplay, advancing 4K/8K formats, and driving large-scale cloud migration and a D2C strategy. A recognized leader in the global broadcast community, Raymundo Barros serves on the Board of Directors of ATSC and is Chair of the Brazilian Digital TV Forum (FSBTVD), where Raymundo Barros is instrumental in developing standards for Brazil’s future TV 3.0.
