An experienced Operations and Engineering Executive with more than 40 years of hands-on knowledge in the design, engineering, implementation, and control of content generation, management and distribution systems.
Currently, as the Chief Network Architect for Castanet 5G, implementing the Broadcast Internet by combining ATSC 3.0 as the foundation of a neutral host content delivery service with the 3GPP standard of 5G Broadcast.
Previous experience includes serving as SVP of Broadcast Engineering and Operations at SiriusXM (formerly XM), managing broadcast operations and engineering, conditional access, and subscriber activation systems. Prior to that, spending 10 years as Vice President of Technical Operations for the CBS Radio Division, overseeing engineering, content distribution, and FCC regulatory compliance for all CBS-owned stations and early development of HD Radio. Also implemented and operated nationwide satellite uplink networks for major sports and news events.
