Spring has sprung, and ATSC meetings are sprouting up with various technology group, specialist group and ad hoc group meetings all month long. Taking a break for at least for a couple days, hundreds of ATSC members will descend on Las Vegas for the NAB Show.
Kicking off with ATSC 3.0 sessions at the NAB Broadcast Engineering Conference and the Global UHD Conference starting Saturday, April 7, the four-day NAB Show officially opens Monday, April 9 with ATSC 3.0 taking center stage, both at the “Road to ATSC 3.0” exhibit in the Grand Lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center and in the ATSC Pavilion at Futures Park in the North Hall.
Next Gen TV powered by ATSC 3.0 also will be a highlight of PBS TechCon 2018, April 4-6, in Las Vegas, too. The annual onramp to NAB, the PBS Technology Conference caters to anyone and everyone in public media who works in technology.
