As we prepare to gather with family and friends for Thanksgiving – and get together to talk turkey with industry colleagues during more than 30 November conference calls and face-to-face meetings – the ATSC pauses to give thanks for the literally hundreds of member volunteers devoting their time and talents to the ATSC 3.0 suite of standards.

The Advanced Television Systems Committee, Inc., is an international, non-profit organization developing voluntary standards and recommended practices for digital terrestrial broadcasting. ATSC member organizations represent the broadcast, broadcast equipment, motion picture, consumer electronics, computer, cable, satellite, and semiconductor industries. ATSC also develops digital terrestrial broadcasting implementation strategies and supports educational activities on ATSC standards.
