If you were stranded on a desert island – what three things would you want to have with you? A power boat to get off the island (SAT Phone and GPS included), loads of bug spray – I hate mosquitos, and a great bottle of Pinot Noir.
Principal Research Scientist at the Communications Research Centre Canada (A Canadian Federal Government Research Centre on wireless technology research)
I am the representative of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) to the ATSC Board. IEEE was one of the founding members of the ATSC. I am interested in researching and advancing digital TV transmission technology and converging broadcasting with broadband, making DTV part of the connected world. I am currently chairing the Tower Network Implementation Team (IT-5) to develop the Inter-Tower Communications Network, which will be part of the future Broadcast Core Network.
