With scores of meetings on tap in May – for technology groups, specialist and ad hoc groups, implementation teams and the board of directors – it’s shaping up to be another busy month for the ATSC. While still basking in the glow of the April NAB Show, the ATSC looks forward to the May 16-17 “Next Gen TV Conference” in the Nation’s Capital. The conference kicks off Tuesday with an ATSC 3.0 technical workshop, followed by our annual VIP reception that evening. The Wednesday full-day conference will focus primarily on business and policy issues driving the transition to Next Gen TV.
