Scope

India Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) is planning proof of concept activities using ATSC 3.0 over low-power, low-tower topology with a primary goal of exploring ATSC 3.0’s capability for distributing direct-to-mobile services. ATSC India Implementation Team will work under the guidance of IITK to assist with these proof of concept activities. While other tasks or projects may arise, this task will be the team’s initial main focus. ATSC India Implementation Team does not draft Standards or Recommended Practices. The Team reports to the ATSC Board of Directors.

Participation

Participation in an ATSC Implementation Team is open to all organizations offering or planning to offer services, products or other efforts relating or supporting implementation of ATSC 3.0. Participation in an ATSC Implementation Team requires organizations to sign an Implementation Team Agreement for the Team, which is available via the link below. There are additional fees for participation in an ATSC Implementation Team as described in the Implementation Team Agreement.
