Bits strings are written as strings of 1s and 0s within single quotation marks, e.g. ‘1000 1001’. Blanks within a bit string are for ease of reading and have no significance.”

ATSC member organizations represent the broadcast, broadcast equipment, motion picture, consumer electronics, computer, cable, satellite, and semiconductor industries. ATSC also develops digital terrestrial broadcasting implementation strategies and supports educational activities on ATSC standards.
