As of Q4 2022, LTN has launched 43 new ATSC 3.0/Next Gen TV markets thus far, with many more prepared to launch or in the planning stage. Overall, LTN has supported these broadcast market launches with station backhauls to new lighthouse transmitters. Additionally, LTN is supporting a growing number of Studio to Transmitter Links (STLs). As overall penetration of ATSC 3.0 is now over 50% of TV HH, we expect the consumer electronics companies to make real headway with ATSC 3.0 TV sets as consumers discover their favorite programming in new higher fidelity 4K packages.
We are also excited for the new upcoming business models that take advantage of broader single frequency networks since LTN supports these innovations.
