NSM Initiatives LLC. is a collaboration of Toshiba Corporation, Panasonic Corporation, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and Sony Corporation to promote SeeQVault, a security protection and management system for any flash-based memory device.
SeeQVault allows users to store high-definition content on SD, MicroSD, USB media, and HDDs for playback on any SeeQVault-enabled device including Smartphones, Tablets, PCs, Games Consoles, TVs and Set-Top-Boxes.
Whether purchased, rented or recorded, SeeQVault allows premium audiovisual content to be enjoyed and moved across in-home and mobile devices in a highly flexible and very secure way. SeeQVault neatly side-steps the need for an always-on internet connection, eases the pressure on a device’s in-built memory, stops downloads swallowing up consumers’ data allowances and delivers an optimum viewing experience at all times.
SeeQVault enhances the flexibility of current and emerging mobile services offered by broadcasters, content distributors and device manufacturers & supports the creation of new content-mobility business models.
