As summer gives way to fall, ATSC welcomes a bevy of organizations and individuals that joined the ATSC community in 2020 thus far. Our activities and projects benefit greatly from the diversity of our members. They come in all sizes, they come from all corners of the globe, and they bring a wide range of expertise to bear. ATSC is continually evaluating work items and processes in order to ensure that members derive the maximum value from ATSC. The Advanced Television Systems Committee, Inc., is an international, non-profit organization developing voluntary standards and recommended practices for digital terrestrial broadcasting. ATSC member organizations represent the broadcast, broadcast equipment, motion picture, consumer electronics, computer, cable, satellite, and semiconductor industries. ATSC also develops digital terrestrial broadcasting implementation strategies and supports educational activities on ATSC standards.
