With growing inter-industry, multi-national interest in the ATSC’s work on next-generation television standards, membership in the Advanced Television Systems Committee is strong.
In fact, due in large part to ATSC 3.0, the number of ATSC members has grown by 28 percent over the past three years. Volunteers from our member organizations are devoting an estimated 13,000-plus person hours to our work this year.
The ATSC welcomes new members that joined so far in 2016: DS Broadcast, Integrated Microwave Technologies, KAI Media and NEC. The current member list of 144 reflects the diversity, breadth and depth of the ATSC:

The Advanced Television Systems Committee, Inc., is an international, non-profit organization developing voluntary standards and recommended practices for digital terrestrial broadcasting. ATSC member organizations represent the broadcast, broadcast equipment, motion picture, consumer electronics, computer, cable, satellite, and semiconductor industries. ATSC also develops digital terrestrial broadcasting implementation strategies and supports educational activities on ATSC standards.
