I revel in its hectic, kinetic (bordering on frantic at times) energy, the explosion of ideas, and the unique global networking environment of an event where people spend significant time speaking to each other instead of their devices and machines. It’s the media industry’s ultimate annual measuring stick for progress, and for a few days each year in the Nevada desert, the world is filled with bright, shiny new objects and full of possibilities.

SOMEONE YOU SHOULD KNOW: Jim DeChant, News-Press & Gazette Broadcasting
